Nelson brings to Maximum All Stars a creative mind, a disciplined and uniformed style, a structured outlook, and a strong work ethic. He is excited to help make the MX program the place to be!
Nelson has been coaching since 1996. He is a former Head Instructor for the United Spirit Association's (USA) Instructional Staff where he spent 6 years as a camp instructor and a member of program development. Aside from teaching summer camps for USA, Nelson also helped produce and perform in numerous USA production events such as halftime shows for the NFL, NBA, Women's World Cup Soccer and the New Year's Day parade in Paris, France.
Nelson has been a gym director for two very successful programs. He changed the face of cheerleading in Northern California after helping cheergyms.com open the first cheerleading gym in San Jose (there are now 7). The gym, Motions, won numerous Regional, State and National competitions as well as being a Worlds team for 2 seasons (Large Coed in 2006 and 2007). Upon moving down to Orange County, Nelson helped shape OC All-Stars Cheer and Dance into what it is today. With only 115 kids in his first year, Nelson's helped OC grow to 300+ All Stars in just 4 years.
As a coach Nelson has worked successfully at all levels. His perfection before progression philosophy has helped athletes stay safe, strong, and become technically proficient in their skills. As a Level 5 coach, he has coached a Worlds team at 7 different Worlds competitions, three of those with a Paid Bid. He was the first coach in Orange County to lead his team to a Paid Bid and has coached teams in the Small All Girl, Small Coed and Large Coed Divisions. Nelson also continues to work with High School teams, including coaching Monta Vista High School, a school located in Northern California, that flies him out monthly to coach.
Apart from coaching and being an owner, Nelson currently creates custom music for teams across the country with the music company, Go!Fight!Win! as well as choreographs for High School and All Star teams all around California. He is certified levels 1 - 5 with the United States All Star Federation (USASF) for Stunting, Tosses and Tumbling and has been certified for over 6 years (when the USASF first began certifying coaches).

Jaimee Turner has been a cheerleader since 2003. She started out as a Pop-Warner cheerleader but then discovered how much fun all-star cheerleading is. Jaimee has been coaching at Maximum since 2010 and cheering with MX since 2008. In-between coaching and cheering at the gym, she is also on Canyon High school Varsity cheer. She has been doing Canyon cheer and Maximum cheer her whole high school career. She is very dedicated and loves being able to cheer for both teams. In August, 2012, Jaimee will be a senior at Canyon high school and will be attending Cal State Fullerton the following year after she graduates, where she is pursuing a license in cosmetology and degree in business. She will continue coaching for Maximum All-Stars for as long as she can and will never not be a part of cheerleading. She loves being a part of Maximum's gym and since cheering is her passion, she wishes she could cheer her whole life!
Paige is currently attending Santiago Canyon College where she is majoring in business and fashion merchandising, hoping to become a buyer. She has been cheering since she moved to Anaheim Hills and started kindergarten where she met friends who introduced her to cheer. Throughout cheer Paige has stayed in touch with everyone she has cheered with. Cheer has taught Paige friendship and how to have fun and she can honestly say she is a better person because of cheer.
Paige has been cheering for over 15 years. She started out at Pop Warner before joining Maximum while in 8th grade, falling in love with the All-Star cheer world because of its competitive nature and all the tumbling skills she learned in All-Star cheer. While cheering at Maximum, Paige also cheered at Canyon High School. Not only did Paige cheer all four years of High School with the Canyon Cheer team, she was also the captain for all four years.
Paige enjoyes coaching and teaching kids and pushing them to learn discipline, proper technique, new skills, and to have fun. Cheer is her life and she loves it!
Haley plans on studying zoolody and psychology in the near future, as well as posibly cheering for her college of choice. As a child, she took gymnastics classes on and off at Kip's Gymnastics, simply as a hobby. In eighth grade, Haley planned on playing for her high school volleyball team, but was convinced by her friend to try out for cheer "just for fun". She ended up loving it, and cheered for Valencia High School's Junior Varsity and Varsity teams her first two years of high school. The team took tumbling classes at Maximum, where she became inspired by the higher-level girls and their crazy routines. Eventually, she outgrew her high school team and joined Maximum's Senior Level 2 Team in 2012. Unfortunately, she is too busy to cheer for Maximum anymore, but can do the next best thing: work for them!
